RXTE Detects Heartbeat of Smallest Black Hole CandidateGreenbelt MD (SPX) Dec 20, 2011 An international team of astronomers has identified a candidate for the smallest-known black hole using data from NASA's Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer (RXTE).
